it was so amazing! i can still remember watching the weight slowly slipping down before it gave way completely (one of my favorite memories! )

Thank You for the comment. The string tied to the clothespins ran through an eye bolt at the bottom of the stocks then up through another eye bolt in the ceiling then to the weight which hung from a separate rope held on by ice. this was my first attempt and I did not want to go crazy with the clamps until I knew it would work.

Clever - i liked the dropping weight but some of how it was set up wasn't very clear
Keep at it - maybe next time include the nip clamps - a fun way to have them removed
